Rune affect stacking? - Guild Wars Forums

Hey all,

Do similar runes stack. ie does two major runes of Expertice stack, or can two runes major Vigor stack, or can a major and minor rune of BLANK stack?

No, runes don't stack. If you have runes with diferent values, the higher one will apply.

Runes stack with inherent bonuses on armor, so if you have a +1 fire headgear and a minor firemastery rune you'll get +2.

Nope. No offence, but I think you could have found out this info by searching though. (in a different forum ,such as TGH, not nessarily this one)

Anyways, to answer the question, no runes of the same type stack. The more "powerful" one takes precedence.
You can have up to 5 different runes, each for each part of armor.
All runes used must be for your primary profession. (cannot use secondary profession's runes)
